 Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :

Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2005 and not later than 1st July, 2008 are eligible.

 

Penalty for wrong answers :

Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

 

Disqualification for admission to the training course :

Candidates who were admitted to an earlier course at the National Defence Academy, or to the 10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy but were removed there from for lack of officer-like qualities or on disciplinary grounds will not be admitted to the Academy.

 

Candidates who were previously withdrawn from the National Defence Academy or Indian Naval Academy on medical grounds or left the above Academy voluntarily are however, eligible for admission to the Academy provided they satisfy the medical and other prescribed conditions.

 

How to Apply

• Apply for the examination online at upsconline.nic.in. Register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the Commission's website. OTR is a one-time process. If already registered, proceed to fill the online application.
• Modify the OTR profile once, allowed until 7 days after the first final application. For first-time applicants, last date for OTR modification is 16.01.2024.
• Correct application form within 7 days after the application window closes (10.01.2024 to 16.01.2024). OTR profile changes during this period should be on the OTR platform.
• Applications cannot be withdrawn once submitted. Provide details of one photo ID while applying. Upload the same ID with the Online Application Form. Carry this ID during the examination/SSB.
