PNB Apprentice Vacancy 2024

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a job notification for 2700 Apprentice posts. Candidates who want to apply should a graduate degree in any decipline and their age should be between 20 to 28 years. Eligible candidates can apply from the 30 June to 14 July 2024 at the official website.

PNB Apprentice Exam 2024

PNB Apprentice Exam Pattern 2024

The online test for the PNB Apprentice Vacancy 2024 is based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each test will consist of 20 questions worth 20 marks. PNB Apprentice Exam Date 2024

Candidates who have paid the PNB Apprentice Examination fee will receive information about the examination date and timing from BFSI SSC. Ensure that you have paid your examination fee; otherwise, you will not be able to take the PNB Apprentice Exam 2024.

PNB Apprentice Online Examination Process 2024

• Online Examination: All applicants must take the online examination on the specified date and time using their own camera-enabled desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

• ID Proof: Applicants must display the same ID proof they uploaded on the apprenticeship portal for image capturing.

• Exam Conduct: Except for PwBD candidates, no one else is allowed near the candidate during the online examination. Detailed guidelines will be provided by the exam conducting agency.

• Minimum Marks: Candidates must score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate as decided by the Bank. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects.

• Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on merit, subject to reservation rules. In cases where candidates score the same marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher in the merit list.

PNB Apprentice Local Language Test

• Language Proficiency: Candidates applying for training seats in a particular state must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in one of the specified local languages of that state.

• Exemption from Test: Candidates who provide a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate showing they have studied the specified local language will not need to take the language test.

• Test for Other Candidates: For other candidates, a local language proficiency test will be conducted as part of the selection process. This test will be administered during the document verification phase by the Bank. Candidates who fail this test will not be engaged as apprentices.

PNB Apprentice Medical Examination

Under Section 34 of the "Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016," persons with benchmark disabilities (minimum 40%) are eligible for reservation. Candidates must be fit and not affected by these conditions.

1. Orthopedically Challenged (OC):

   • Leprosy Cured: Loss of sensation, deformity, or physical limitations.
   • Cerebral Palsy: Movement and coordination issues.
   • Dwarfism: Height 4'10" (147 cm) or less.
   • Muscular Dystrophy: Muscle weakness.
   • Acid Attack Victims: Disfigurement from assaults.

2. Visually Impaired (VI):

   • Blindness: Total or severe visual loss.
   • Low Vision: Significant impairment after correction.

3. Hearing Impaired (HI):

   • Deaf: 70 DB or more hearing loss.
   • Hard of Hearing: 60-70 DB hearing loss.

4. Intellectual Disability (ID):

   • ASD: Communication and behavior issues.
   • SLD: Language or math processing issues.
   • MI: Disorders affecting judgment and behavior.

5. Multiple Disabilities: Combination of above.

Reserved vacancies are as per the Act and bank requirements.
