SSC JE Civil Engineer Selection Process 2024

The selection process is based on the Computer-Based Examination. The minimum qualifying marks in Computer Exam Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:

(i) UR: 30%

(ii) OBC/EWS: 25%

(iii) All other categories: 20%

Candidates are shortlisted for Paper-II based on normalized marks in Paper-I. Final selection and allocation of Post/Organization/Office are based on candidates' performance in both papers and their preference.

Selected candidates undergo a two-year probation period, may need to acquire language proficiency, and must represent the Regional Office if not qualified for subsequent stages.
